Recap of yesterday’s show…

So for anyone who missed our regularly scheduled show of GIRLS IN MOTION at 11:40 on Tuesday, I’m here to catch you all up.

Remember our interview with Kasey Roar a few weeks back? The main singer on Romance with a Rocketship? Well in the interview he promised to send us a copy of his new single… and he did! We started the show off with playing Kasey Roar’s new single, Stranger. All of us here in the studio loved it and are excited to hear what else he has in store for the future. We would like to thank Kasey Roar for sending it to us and allowing us to play it, I’m sure all the listeners were very impressed with his musical talents and charm!

The next topic of discussion was Miley Cyrus’s new song ‘We Cant Stop’. This song is fun and catchy, really showcasing the new and authentic Miley! Miley said that “Everyone always judges and says what they want, but my fans have really stood by me no matter what I’ve been through, and this is a song that says where I’m at in my life right now” on an interview with Ryan Seacrest. Now we are eagerly awaiting the release of Mileys album to follow this single… remember to post your opinions below about what you think of her new single!

On the show Glee, one of the stairs Charice has openly came out of the closest! She was interviewed on ABS-CBN program The Buzz and said “Yes, I am a tomboy,” as her eyes filled with tears.

The movie Now You See Me has finally premiered! Let us know what you think if you have seen it! Dj Squid got to go to the premiere and said how amazing it was.

To end the show, Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan – Tatum had their first child, a baby girl! Congratulations to the happy couple and nothing but the best for them and their newborn baby.

LIVE interview with Romance on a Rocketships…. KASEY ROAR!

DJ Shmarks here, filling in all the Girls in Motion followers about our exciting show yesterday!

We had the honor of interviewing Romance on a Rocketships lead singer… Kasey Roar!

We found out tons of new information about this punk-rock inspiration, such as Romance on a Rocketship spells out – ROAR! In the Skin and Bones video, a lion comes onto screen chasing the prep boy in the letter men jacket, coincidence or no?

We also heard that his inspiration for singing was his Grandmother! Awwww

He told us all about the wild life being on the road and how he is releasing a new single soon! Once we receive a copy of it, we’ll play it on 90.7 RAV FM for all our listeners to enjoy. He is as well planning a tour, as soon as we get any information on tour dates we will inform all of you!

Before becoming an artist, Kasey was working as a graphic designer. He designed band shirts and admits he would probably still be doing that today if he hadn’t become an artist.

Kasey ended our interview by giving us a freestyle rap, which he included being on air with us, Girls in Motion.

Hey Girls in Motion followers!
Before our show this coming Tuesday, I’d like to inform you of the success of our last show!
We interviewed Leximusic411 all the way from Atlanta
We learnt about her fashion sense, drive for music and even her celebrity crushes (psst in case you missed it… It’s Cody Simpson!)

She’s been tweeting some pretty scandalous stuff about her feelings towards Drake, and also tweeted about personal issues shes been dealing with. From the young star on The Amanda Show, are you concerned about her?

Another next topic of discussion was Katy Perry’s trip to Madagascar. She went to help out the poorest children in the world with UNICEF. Seeing this, really made Katy see the importance of education and sanitation for these children. Following her breakup with John Mayer, we think going to help out with UNICEF was a really healthy way to keep herself distracted!

The last thing about our show I’ll inform you guys on is Selena Gomez’s new song ‘Come and Get It”. Rumors circulated that it was about Justin Bieber, her ex-boyfriend. But on an on-air interview with Ryan Seacrest, she confirmed it is not. She says its not about anyone in specific but more in general, and just thinks the song is fun.
