In other news, we have had a hectic couple of weeks on our show! From LexiMusic411 all the way from Atlanta to Kasey Roar the lead singer on Romance on a Rocket ship and Mandia Nantsios whose music video One Last Time is featured on Family Channel and she was a former contestant on The Next Star, we haven’t been able to inform you guys about the latest Hollywood Gossip.

So this post today is to let you guys in the know about all the latest do’s and don’ts in Hollywood over the past couple of weeks!

Did any of you catch the Billboard Awards? Up against winner Justin Bieber of the Milestone award was Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. When going up to retrieve his award, he was not only booed then, but throughout the course of his speech. In this speech he included how “I’m 19 years old. I think I’m doing a good job”. He was finally able to say these few words after waiting at the mic for the audience to calm down and become quieter. Who do you think should have won that award? Taylor? Bruno? Was it rightfully Justin’s, or was he too young to receive a Milestone Award?

In other news, Jennifer Aniston is engaged to Justin Theroux! Brad Pitt admits that him and Jen have remained very good friends, despite the constant dissing between the two stars. How do you think Angelina Jolie is feeling about this? Speaking of which, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have vowed not to have sexual intercourse with other people for movies. They agreed they did not want to upset each other when filming these sorts of scenes so have both vowed not to do them anymore.

Angelina admits to be having a potential breast cancer lump that caused her to have both breasts removed almost a year ago. She finally comes out now to admit it and wants to be a role model for other women going through similar things around the world. Having this cancer does not make you any less feminine then any other female and just makes you stronger in the end. How are you feeling about this shocking announcement? We here at 90.7 RAV FM are all proud of Angie and hope nothing but health for her and her family!

Rumours have it that American Idol has their eyes on Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and Harry Connick jr. For new judges on the upcoming season. A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively about Bruno Mars that “He’s super talented, amazingly charismatic, and well-liked by industry professionals and young fans.” Do you want these stars to be the next hosts on American Idol?

Exclusive interview with Mandia Nantsios!

DJ Squid filling in all the latest interview news for ya!

This past Wednesday,on  may 15th the girls in motion had the opportunity to interview the lovely Mandia Nantsios! Mandia called in around 12 o’clock to have an exclusive live interview with us, to share her story. She is only sixteen years old and has already amounted to so much success. Mandia has her own publicist and has done a variety of promotional events to increase her horizons. Mandia  Mandia stared in the YTV hit show called the next star. The next star is a TV show that focuses on finding talented artists at a young age. This show gives so many opportunities for kids to help start their future career in music. When Mandia released her new song  “One last time” she was so excited to have it as a featured music video on family channel.  So many artists have started from family channel such as Selena Gomez,  Miley Cyrus, and so many more!

We had the pleasure of discussing how she works with having a normal high school life, yet also an up and coming music career. She lives a normal life but she still says ” It’s always so weird seeing myself on family channel”. Mandia dished about her celeb crush and dream duet partner, and no surprise it was Justin Bieber! Mandia also shared her advice on how to get started in the music industry. We hope to have the opportunity to premiere her new songs and album when it comes out!  What does the future hold for this new star? We’ll have to wait and see!

LIVE interview with Romance on a Rocketships…. KASEY ROAR!

DJ Shmarks here, filling in all the Girls in Motion followers about our exciting show yesterday!

We had the honor of interviewing Romance on a Rocketships lead singer… Kasey Roar!

We found out tons of new information about this punk-rock inspiration, such as Romance on a Rocketship spells out – ROAR! In the Skin and Bones video, a lion comes onto screen chasing the prep boy in the letter men jacket, coincidence or no?

We also heard that his inspiration for singing was his Grandmother! Awwww

He told us all about the wild life being on the road and how he is releasing a new single soon! Once we receive a copy of it, we’ll play it on 90.7 RAV FM for all our listeners to enjoy. He is as well planning a tour, as soon as we get any information on tour dates we will inform all of you!

Before becoming an artist, Kasey was working as a graphic designer. He designed band shirts and admits he would probably still be doing that today if he hadn’t become an artist.

Kasey ended our interview by giving us a freestyle rap, which he included being on air with us, Girls in Motion.
